Great turnout continues for Friday night's 15mm Open

Eric Holmes' Macedonians tackle Steve Cole's Greeks

Steve Cole's Theban hoplites tackle Eric Holmes wonderfully painted Macedonians -- his first army!

Although we did not quite attain last year's 30 players, we had another great turnout with 26 players in Friday night's 15mm DBA Open. Thanks to Mike Stelzer for taking over the running of this tourney -- it's always nice to have fellow GMs to shoulder the load. Despite the strong presence of out of towners in the ranks of this event, two local boys took the prizes, this year. Fifteen year old Jason Stelzer won his first DBA tournament...a fact which we will forgive him using Cheese Company...er, Free Company to do so. Allen almost won his Matched Pairs team the night before, too, racking up a 3-0 record before falling in the final round.
